Brow Tint: At home!

While most of us have been freaking out because the Coronavirus totally dropped the bomb on our 'basic necessities'. We all have grown out, non-painted nails, and our hair color will totally reveal our true colors by the time this is all over.

~At least you can totally rejuvenate your brows on your own. I have had blonde brows and lashes my entire life, so tinting them has been a savior. Though this may seem tedious, and probably should be left for a professional. . .it is totally doable!

I am in no way profiting from this, but I am here to help! The products/steps I use are below:

WRITTEN STEPS & PRODUCTS:

• Tie your hair back. It would be tragic to accidentally dye a section of your head hairs (speaking from experience). I also advise plastic gloves if you want to save your hands/nails from any dye spillage! It can and will stain your skin for a few days!

• Mix together your dye. I use Just For Men Mustache and Beard Color - Dark Brown (looks most natural with my hair color). I feel most safe using this on my facial hair! You can find it at your local convenience/grocery store. Use a small amount of the Color Base + Developer + mix with a Q-tip and set aside.

• Outline your brows with a facial lotion you do not mind using a lump sum of. I choose to use Ponds Facial Moisturizer. I have a lot of it, and it works great. This process alleviates the colored dye to adhere to your skin.

• Lay on your pre-mixed dye! Get messy with it, and make sure you cover the entire brow area.

• Let sit for 2-3 minutes. Do a dance, sing a song.

• Wipe off with a disposable towel/kleenex/paper product.

• I usually wait a few hours until washing my face/brow area. I like for the dye to settle in, it seems to last longer this way.

• Tweeze if necessary. I typically wait until after I dye to tweeze. It’s better for me to see the stragglers once they’re dyed and dark ;)

• Lastly, I use the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel to set my brows to make sure they last all day and don’t get funky looking!
